- Yes. All five Foundations modules, your first three species, your first grow in the tracker, and your first certificate — permanently free. No trial, no credit card.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Billing is managed through Stripe's customer portal; you can cancel in two clicks. You keep Pro access until the end of your paid period.
- Do I lose my data if I downgrade?
- No. Your grows, photos, notes, and completed lessons stay. You just lose access to tier-gated content until you resubscribe.
- Do the certifications count?
- Our Foundations certificate is a completion credential. The Specialist and Master tiers involve human review of capstone projects — the resulting credentials are resume-grade and verifiable at a public URL.
- Is there a student or hardship discount?
- Yes — reach out via contact with a short note about your situation. We have sliding-scale access for students, aid organizations, and growers in financial hardship.
- What about teams or classrooms?
- The Educator tier supports cohorts of up to 30 learners with mentor-assignment tools. Larger institutional deployments get discounted licensing — reach out via contact.
- Why no CRM or invoicing?
- Microgreen Academy is strictly a learning platform. Operational tools (customer management, pricing, invoicing, order tracking, delivery) live in our sister product Traystar — a dedicated microgreen production-management app.
